This 2002 street marks the original location of the Max Godde farmhouse, built around 1886 and taken away from this site shortly before this street was named. A Los Angeles Times article pondered the house’s future at that time, but as they provided no followup, I don’t know if the house still exists. Max Godde (1861-1942), one of this region’s earliest settlers, made a name for himself as an almond grower. See Godde Hill Road for more.
