Sandy Drive, Jakes Way, and Fahren Court honor members of the David J. Feingold family. The streets were named by Geoffrey H. Palmer on his Park Sierra development in 1986; David Feingold was an executive at Citicorp Real Estate, Inc. at the time and arranged financing for many of Palmer’s projects. The two remained good friends and in 2014 Feingold was appointed executive director of the Geoffrey H. Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law at Pepperdine University. A native of Teaneck, NJ, Feingold graduated from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and married fellow Teanecker Sandra “Sandy” Faren in 1974. The couple and their two kids lived in the Bay Area until moving to Los Angeles in 1981. Son Jacob “Jake” Feingold, a graduate of Columbia Business School, also went into real estate and financing and is currently based in New York. Daughter Fahren Feingold (1980-2023) was an acclaimed fine artist who passed away from cancer at 43.
