Named in 1953, most likely after one of Robin Hood’s merry men: Will Scarlet, who was called “Will Scadlock” in some versions of the tale. Think I’m reaching? Woodcliff and Deerhorn roads were also laid out on this tract as part of the Sherwood Foresty theme. Nearby Longbow Drive and Shernoll Court were added a few years later by prolific developer Elwain Steinkamp and his first wife Donna.
