Maytor Place

Most likely named after Maytor McKinley (né Bernard Maytor Hoppenyan, 1878-1952), a funeral home director who owned a bit of land on a nearby hill and established Magnetic Terrace there in 1927. (See that street for a little bio.) It’s not clear whether McKinley or his son Maytor Jr. also owned the land where Maytor Place was named in 1959.
